Police say a family dispute led to a son shooting his father in the Upstate, Sunday night. As we previously reported, the Spartanburg Police Department responded to the area of Arbor Lane around 8PM.
Investigators say that an argument between the father and son escalated into a physical fight. During the fight, the son pulled a handgun and fired shots. The father was injured and was taken to a hospital for emergency surgery.
There's been no update on the father's condition. Police say, no charges have been filed, as of this time. The shooting remains under investigation.
