A Spartanburg County woman is facing charges for medical fraud. The South Carolina Attorney's General Office says 32 year old, Mikaila Mitchell was arrested , Thursday.
She's charged with two counts of forgery and medical fraud. The charges stem from when Mitchell worked as a personal care attendant from August of last year to January of this year.
Investigators say Mitchell falsified records claiming to have provided care for two Medicaid patients, which she did not care for. The case will be prosecuted by the State Attorney General's Office.
