State Superintendent Of Education Molly Spearman was in Greenville County Tuesday. She toured a covid-19 testing site on campus at Fountain Inn High School. Spearman feels the site is a welcomed addition for this part of the state.
Spearman was joined by Dr. Burke Royster, the Superintendent of Greenville County Schools. Royster spoke about the site cutting down on missed class time for students and getting them back from quarantine quickly. He also spoke on the other benefits of the site, noting that many are using the site when they display symptoms or are knowingly exposed to the virus.
The School District says the testing site is operational 7 days a week. Spearman talked about the importance of the role that Mako Medical has with operating the site.
