A suspect is facing charges after he reportedly dragged the mother of his child down an Upstate highway over the weekend. The Union County Sheriff's Office responded to the Circle K store on Lockhart Highway, just before 8:30 Saturday.
Deputies spoke to a woman inside the store who had visible injuries. She told them that 34 year old, Jacob Alan Craine was then arrested on a charge of 1st degree domestic violence.
Investigators say Craine and the woman have a 4 year old child, who was present during the incident. The Sheriff's Office says Craine has a previous conviction for domestic violence.
