A wanted man is in custody after leading deputies on a high speed chase in North Georgia, Monday. The Hart County Sheriff's Office says a deputy spotted a vehicle driven by 33 year old, Chance Reed who was wanted in Royston, Georgia for felony eluding.
His black Camaro was seen on Bowersville Highway just before 5PM. When deputies tried pulling him over Reed fled towards Hartwell which led to a chase. Deputies used spike strips to deflate Reed's tires. The car eventually came to a stop and Reed was taken into custody.
After yesterday's incident, Reed is charged with multiple counts of felony eluding and a list of traffic violations. Deputies say the chase reached speeds of over 110 miles per hour.
