The suspect wanted in connection to a shooting in the Upstate that left one person wounded, is now behind bars. 19 year old, Jeffrey Tykei (Tie-Key) Dodd of Greer was arrested Monday afternoon on charges of attempted murder, criminal conspiracy and a weapons violation.
The charges stem from an incident on January 21st at the Brushy Creek Townhomes. The Greer Police Department says, Dodd was breaking into a vehicle when he was confronted by a homeowner, Dodd then shot the home owner multiple times.
The victim was able to survive the incident after being taken to an area hospital for treatment.
