An Upstate man is in custody after two separate weekend shootings. Both incidents happened in Spartanburg County early Saturday morning. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Highway 101 and Highway 417, around 12:30 AM.
Then Deputies responded about an hour later to the 2nd incident , on Switzer Greenwood Road. The suspect, 40 year old Joseph Stinson of Woodruff is accused of opening fire at a vehicle on Highway 101, Deputies say that the tire of the vehicle was hit by gunfire.
Stinson is being held without bond on charges of Attempted Murder and Possession Of A Weapon During A Violent Crime.
