A suspect accused in a Quadruple homicide case in the Upstate has been found guilty.

The jury deliberated for two hours before finding Amy Vilardi guilty of murdering four members of her family in a 2015 quadruple homicide that shocked Anderson County.

The verdict came down Fridayon the fifth day of testimony, in an Anderson County courtroom. Vilardi was immediately sentenced to life in prison.

Vilardi had been accused of killing her mother, and three other family members. The four were found shot to death inside their home on Refuge Drive near Pendleton on October 31, 2015.

Vilardi and her husband, Rosmore Vilardi, were arrested in late 2023 in connection with the killings, nearly eight years after the victims were found.

The couple had originally been scheduled to stand trial together, but earlier this month a judge granted motions to sever their cases, allowing them to be tried separately.

A trial date for Rosmore Vilardi has not yet been set.
