The suspect in attempted armed robbery in the Upstate last week has been arrested. In the early morning hours of February 10th an armed man was attempting to break into a vehicle at an apartment complex in Simpsonville.
The owner of the vehicle confronted the suspect who pulled a gun on the owner of the vehicle and then fled the scene.
The Simpsonville Police Department says they arrested 31 year old, Christopher Dallas McMurtry in connection to the incident on Wednesday. McMurtry faces charges for attempted armed robbery, auto break in and attempted auto break in".
