A man facing multiple charges after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call which led to a pursuit. Anderson County 9 1 1 Dispatchers received a call regarding a domestic incident at a home on Sue Ella Court in Townville, just after 10:30AM Thursday morning.
While deputies were enroute to that call, a vehicle matching a description of the suspect's vehicle was traveling in the wrong lane of Highway 24, narrowly avoiding a collision with a deputy's patrol vehicle. A pursuit began and the suspect struck another vehicle and was eventually forced off the road by deputies near the Anderson Regional Airport.
The suspect, 58 year old Bobby Lee Stites was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for medical treatment. No deputies were injured during the pursuit and arrest.
Stites will be held at the Anderson County Detention Center until he appears before a Bond Court Magistrate.
