A suspect is in custody after investigators say he stabbed two people at an Upstate retail store. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported stabbing at a Dollar General store on Augusta Road around 9 PM last Thursday night.

57 year old, Vincent Edward Booker reportedly showed up at the store to confront an employee after the two had a previous argument. Booker then allegedly stabbed the victim and a second worker who was not involved in the original dispute.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital. Booker fled the scene but was later arrested after he went to the hospital with an injury. He's charged with 2 counts of attempted murder and a weapons violation.
