The suspect wanted for a shooting in Oconee County last weekend is now in custody. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of 34 year old, Kristopher Jenkins. He was wanted following a shooting on Rock Crusher Road in Walhalla, last Sunday.
Investigators say, Jenkins was in an argument with another man, a struggle for the gun ensued causing the weapon to fire and the victim was shot in the foot.
Jenkins was located in the Seneca area Thursday morning and taken into custody. He faces charges of Attempted Murder, Possession Of A Stolen Vehicle, Possessing A Stolen Credit Card and Weapons Violations.
The Sheriff's Office says, Jenkins also faces additional charges from the Seneca Police Department.
