An arrest has been made following a weekend hit and run that injured two South Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers. The crash happened during a traffic stop, around 2 AM Sunday at Cedar Lane Road and Alamo Street in Greenville.
Both troopers were hit by a Chrysler sedan and were taken to a hospital. One was critically injured and the other was treated and released. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says, a suspect was taken into custody about an hour after the crash. He's now been identified as 48 year old, Marlo Roger Seawright of Greenville.
Seawright appeared in bond court Sunday morning and was denied bond. He's charged with hit-and-run with great bodily injury, but the judge said Sunday, more charges could be coming.
