A teenager arrested in connection to an Upstate double shooting from last month. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest Tuesday evening.
The shooting occurred in the Camp Croft community in Spartanburg on February 21st, where one victim was reported dead and another was injured.
The suspect is now identified as a 15-year-old juvenile, charged with Murder, Attempted Murder, and 2 counts of Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
Following an investigation, authorities are still uncertain of a motive behind the shooting, but the suspect is said to have been acquaintances with the victims.
The unidentified teenaged suspect is currently being held at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
