One teenager is facing charges and another was injured after a fight led to a stabbing in Downtown Greenville, over the weekend. Officers from the Greenville Police Department responded to a reported stabbing in the area of South Main Street, just after 9PM Friday.
Upon arrival, officers found a juvenile male victim with a cut to his torso. He was taken to Greenville Memorial to be treated. On Saturday, police arrested a 17 year old boy in connection to the incident.
The teenager has not yet been publicly identified due to his age, but is charged with aggravated assault. Officials say the fight happened prior to the city's juvenile curfew.
