A teenager was airlifted to a hospital after being injured in a shooting near Seneca, Monday evening. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting on Goddard Avenue, on the Utica Mill Hill just after 8PM. The teen was taken to a hospital via helicopter after being shot.
There's been no update on the victim's condition. The Sheriff's Office says they identified a suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. However, investigators released the occupants of the vehicle, after they say they determined they were not involved in the crime.
So far, no arrests have been made and investigators are asking anyone with info to call Oconee County Crimestoppers at 844-71-CRIME.
