A teenager is dead after a shooting, Wednesday night. The Greenwood Police Department responded to the Phoenix Place Apartments around 945 PM.
The Greenwood County Coroner's Office says the victim was pronounced at Self Regional Hospital, just after 11:30PM. The victim has been identified as 17 year old Traveon Johnson.
Police say that several people were playing with guns inside the apartment when Je'Von Amari Williams accidentally shot the victim. Williams was taken into custody and is charged with involuntary manslaughter.
