A teenager is dead after a weekend shooting at a Gaffney apartment complex. Officials in Cherokee County say the teen was shot in the parking lot of the Limestone Court Apartments just before 11PM, Saturday night.
The victim was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. The Cherokee County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 18 year old, Javlin De'Angelo Dawkins of Spartanburg.
No arrests have been announced, as of the time of this report. An autopsy is set to be performed on Dawkins. The shooting remains under investigation by the Gaffney Police Department.
