A teenager wanted in connection to a murder in New York was taken into custody in the Upstate, over the weekend. 18 year old Yandie Martinez was arrested just before 130, Saturday afternoon.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit and FBI agents took Martinez into custody in the Piedmont area. Martinez was wanted after a fatal shooting in New York state July 1st. P
olice say he fled the scene prior to their arrival. The victim, Chris Alvarado was shot multiple times and died after being transported to the hospital.
