Three Dorman High School students were killed in a three vehicle collision on Fairforest Clevedale Road Tuesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol says a 2004 Dodge pickup, a 2010 Chevrolet and a 2021 Freightliner tractor trailer were involved collision.
The Freightliner was making a left turn onto Old Blackstock Road when it was struck by the two other vehicles. The three students that died were in the Dodge.
Two of them died at the scene, another died at a Spartanburg hospital. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has identified the victims as 15-year-old Daniel Diaz, 16-year-old Aben Sisk and 17-year-old Itzel Garcia-Trejo. The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
