There's been rumors and speculation swirling since Fits News first reported on what they described as an incident between Congressman William Timmons and TSA agents at GSP airport, last week.
The embattled Congressman joined the Tara Show Wednesday morning to set the record straight. The Congressman would elaborate further on what transpired.
Timmons said " I have been randomly selected for additional screening about a half a dozen times in the last 6-8 months. One, that doesn't seem right and number two when I am randomly selected the protocols that they have used have been very different".
Timmons also addressed reports that he filed an official complaint against the TSA agents involved. He said " I never filed a complaint against the TSA. There's just a lot of misinformation out there because it's Primary season".
