Rumors of a former President in attendance at the Clemson/Carolina game may be true. As we previously reported, Governor Henry McMaster, an early supporter of Trump, had been asked about a visit by Trump for the annual rivalry game.
McMaster said that the former president had a standing invitation to visit anytime he wants to and that if he did attend, McMaster said he and the State's First Lady would be there with him.
Columbia's WIS TV has confirmed that Trump will be there. The annual meeting of the state's biggest college football teams is Saturday at Williams Brice Stadium in Columbia with 7:30PM kickoff.
