The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in the Midlands over the weekend in that severe weather outbreak.
A survey team say an EF-1 tornado with winds up to 90 miles per hour was on the ground for about 10 minutes in the Timberlake Community in Lexington County just after 7:30 Sunday morning . No injuries were reported.
