Two people have been arrested after a standoff last Friday at a Greenville home. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded around 10AM Friday morning to a disturbance call at a home on Wallace Street.
Deputies arrived and found a man and a woman engaged in an argument. The man, 44 year old Starvious Laqwon Sloan, fled the scene, and a foot pursuit ensued. Sloan resisted arrest and reportedly assaulted the deputy. Sloan then barricaded himself inside the home.
Backup arrived, and Sloan was taken into custody without incident. Sloan is charged with resisting arrest, narcotics possession and assault and battery.
The woman, 41 year old Kendall Rae Morrison, was also arrested for interfering with Sloan's apprehension.
