Two Upstate Deputies were injured after being bitten by dogs, while on duty. On Friday morning, a Deputy was serving civil papers in Mountain Rest.
While there, the deputy was bitten by a Rottweiler on the leg, but the bite did not require medical attention.
Hours later a Deputy serving a warrant in Townville when he was bitten by a Pitbull. That deputy was injured and was taken to a hospital to be treated.
Sheriff Mike Crenshaw says both deputies are expected to make a full recovery.
