The Anderson County Coroner's office is investigating the Christmas Day deaths of two people who apparently overdosed on more than one illegal drug. That's the preliminary report on the case.
The two were found shortly before 6 PM Wednesday at a house on Hamlin Road, on the Anderson County side of Easley.
One victim, a 49-year-old man was found outside and a 59-year-old woman was discovered inside the house.
The Coroner's report adds that both died of "polydrug toxicity", meaning from more than one drug.
Also, officials say because the deaths, "appear to be related to illicit drug use, and therefore the names will not be released".
