Two rescued from vehicle in rising flood waters

Torrential rain has caused flooding in parts of the Upstate. So much so, that two people had to be rescued from the rising waters, Wednesday morning in Greenville.

Officials with the City Of Greenville Fire Department say, crews performed a water rescue on two people who were trapped in a vehicle at Halton and Haywood Roads.

The roads in that area and other parts of the city are under water from the downpour of heavy rainfall. City officials say, that the Greenville Zoo and Cleveland Park are closed Wednesday due to the flood waters.
