A police chase in Greenville Monday has ended with two suspects in custody and no major injuries reported.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened while they were trying to serve a warrant on 33 year old, Silvester Taylor Jr. for cocaine trafficking.
Around noon, they observed Taylor parked next to a vehicle at a gas station on Conestee Road. When deputies approached the driver of the other vehicle, 37 year old Anthony Marquise Griggs fled the scene. Griggs hit a patrol car while fleeing and a chase ensued, Taylor also fled during the commotion.
Deputies then brought the vehicle Griggs was driving to a forced stop and took him into custody. Taylor was located a short while later at a home on Saxon Drive and was apprehended.
Griggs suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to a local hospital. The official charges against the two have not been announced, as of the time of this report.
