Imagine being on your lunch break and being hit in a drive-by shooting. That was exactly the case in Spartanburg, Sunday.
The Spartanburg Police Department says an employee at the Downtown Memorial Airport was in his vehicle at the intersection of South Church Street and Caulder Avenue.
He reported that a vehicle then drove by and circled, drove back by and opened fire. The victim then fled in his vehicle and called 9-1-1. The victim was hit and injured in the shooting.
Police say no shell casings were found at the scene. The victim could not identify the suspect and no arrests have been made in the case, as of the time of this report.
