One man is dead following a shooting at an Upstate bar. Witnesses say a man who was gunned down in a Spartanburg County bar early Friday morning ,had gotten into a shouting match with the man who shot him. Deputies were called to the El Gordo on the Asheville Highway about 2:00 a.m.
The victim was dead when they got there. His identity has not yet been released. The investigation is ongoing, but no suspect information has been released as of the time of this report.
