The 12 year old boy that was killed in an Upstate school shooting was laid to rest over the weekend. A memorial service was held for Jamari Jackson Saturday afternoon. His visitation started at 1 PM and the memorial service began at 2 PM at Relentless Church in Greenville. Jackson was fatally shot by a fellow student at Greenville's Tanglewood Middle School March 31st.
The family's attorney Margie Pizzaro released a statement over the weekend saying " As the family moves forward they ask for peace and privacy while they allow the system to work. We look forward to meeting with law enforcement and prosecutors in the coming week. We are committed to keeping the community apprised of developments in the case"
