A Westminster man is facing charges after being found with a minor who had been reported missing. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says 26 year old, Jacob Miles Emerson is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
The charge comes after a School Resource Officer was notified by a family member of the missing teenager, after they were last seen at school on Monday.
Emerson was found with the missing minor in Clemson, around 2AM Wednesday. The Sheriff's Office says the evidence suggests the two were involved in a relationship and that Emerson had prevented the minor from going to school.
The teenager has since returned home. Emerson was also served with a warrant put of Walhalla for 2nd degree burglary charges.
