A suspect in the 2023 murder of Robert Nelon in Rutherford County North Carolina has been arrested. On Thursday, the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office said William Arthur Steele of Spartanburg turned himself in to Authorities.
On November 11th last year, Nelon was shot in the stomach near High Chase Road and later died at the hospital.
After investigating, on January 22nd, a bill of indictment was issued for Steele for 2nd Degree Murder. He is currently being held on a $600,000 secured bond.
