An Upstate man is facing sex crime and multiple other charges after an incident in Spartanburg County, over the weekend. The Spartanburg County responded to a reported sexual assault at a home in Enoree around 4AM, Saturday.
The victim told deputies she was able to escape her attacker and went to another house and the resident there called 9-1-1. Investigators were able to identify and locate the suspect, 29 year old Tyler Eversole of Enoree. The suspect told investigators that the sexual acts were consensual.
At the time of the incident, Eversole was out on bond after being charged with several crimes, earlier this year. Eversole faces charges of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, 1st degree assault, and a weapons violation from the weekend incident. He's being held at the Spartanburg County jail.
