An Upstate man is facing charges after police say he broke into his grandmother's house. The Spartanburg Police Department responded just before 11PM, Saturday night to a home on Beaumont Avenue.
The homeowner told deputies that her grandson, Daquan Boyd had forced his way inside her home by breaking through the backdoor, while armed with a pistol.
Boyd was located at a home on Reynolds Street and a stolen gun was recovered at the home. Boyd is charged with burglary, possession of a stolen gun, and multiple weapon violations.
