An Upstate man is in custody after being charged with kidnapping his girlfriend. The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says 32 year old, Dawk Dawkins was arrested after forcing the woman to leave a home and go with him.
The Sheriff's Office says the victim was staying with her mother and Dawkins came to the home and kicked in the door. The mother told deputies that her daughter was staying there due to domestic issues with Dawkins.
