An Upstate man is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting his teenage stepdaughter. The girl's mother also reportedly had full knowledge of the situation and was complicit. Both 38 year old, Andrew Joseph Martin and 35 year old, Misty Danielle Norris have been arrested in the case.
The charges came after the Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in Belton, earlier this month. The Sheriff's Office says Martin had sexually abused the 14 year old girl for years.
Norris which is the victim's mother reportedly admitted to knowing about the abuse for years. Norris is charged with accessory and unlawful neglect of a child. Martin is charged with 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
