An Upstate man is dead after he was shot while on his front porch. The Union County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a home on Timberlake Road in Union, Friday night.
Upon arrival, the victim was found with a gunshot wound on the front porch. He was taken to Union Hospital where he later died. The deceased has been identified as 39 year old Danny Inman of Union.
Investigators conducted witness interviews and process the scene. However, no arrests have been announced as of the time of this report and the shooting remains under investigation.
