An Upstate man has died nearly two weeks after a skateboarding accident in Anderson County. The Anderson County Coroner's Office says 26 year old, Troy Adam Link died Tuesday at Greenville Memorial Hospital. His death comes after paramedics responded to the area of West Main Street in Williamson on March 9th.
Link was found in the roadway and was airlifted to Greenville Memorial. Officials say he had been skateboarding on West Main Street when he hit an object in the roadway and fell from the skateboard His death has been ruled accidental.
The Coroner's Office says, Link died from a traumatic brain injury he suffered when falling off the skateboard.
