An Upstate man has been sentenced to life in prison after being convicted on several drug trafficking charges. The State Attorney General's Office says, Gerald Lee Whitner was convicted last week on charges of trafficking fentanyl, meth and cocaine and conspiracy.
Whitner was under investigation in December of 2023 and was seen entering a known stash house in Greenville County. A search warrant was executed on the house and over 3 pounds of cocaine, of over three ounces of fentanyl, and nearly two ounces of meth were seized.
Whitner had previous convictions for drug trafficking, which led to the life sentence on these charges
