An Upstate man is wanted for a string of burglaries in Georgia. Anthony Wellwood of Anderson County is wanted in connection to a burglary investigation in Elbert and Wilkes Counties.
Authorities say the burglaries include a flatbed truck that was stolen from a business in Elberton, a burglary at a business in Washington, Georgia and a truck that was stolen in Wilkes County.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office was called into join the investigation and they located a number of items stolen in Georgia including the stolen flatbed truck.
The Elbert County Sheriff's Office says the investigation is ongoing and more charges and arrests are expected to be forthcoming.
