Investigators with the Greer Police Department are searching for the suspect driver, that was involved in a deadly hit and run. On Saturday, December 23rd, Officers were called to South Line Street around 6pm in reference to a collision.
Officers say 51 year old Gumersindo Leon-Vidal,was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle, that left the scene. Leon-Vidal was then transported to Prisma Health Greenville, where he later died.
Investigators are asking for the public’s help with locating the driver of the vehicle, which is believed to be a Jeep Wrangler. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Greer Police Department.
