An investigation is ongoing after an Upstate town fell victim to a scam. Last Friday, officials from the City Of Inman contacted the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
Inman officials reported they had been scammed into sending a payment to an unknown party instead of the contractor they owed. SLED and the FBI have been called into assist in the investigation.
