Officials say a traffic stop last week resulted in one of the largest drug busts in Anderson County history. Deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office stopped a Nissan SUV on I-85, last Wednesday and found duffle bags tucked into the backseat.
A search of the bags turned up 40 kilos of cocaine, which have a street value of around 750,000 dollars. Deputies then arrested Marina Natanova for cocaine trafficking. She's currently being held in Anderson County.

Sheriff Chad McBride said of the bust " “Our deputies try to get as many drugs off our streets every day and it carries over onto
the Interstate. Regardless of whether the final destination of these drugs is Anderson County or our neighboring communities, it always leads to more crime".
