The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office reports a man has died days after being shot at the Dollar General in Duncan. The Coroner identified the victim as, 50 year old Danny Ray Crisp of Spartanburg.
He was shot last Wednesday the 27th and was being treated for a gunshot wound at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he died last Friday.
The death was ruled a homicide. In a media release Tuesday the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office said a suspect in the shooting has been identified.
The suspect is believed to have left the area and a sheriff's office spokesman said revealing the name of the suspect as this time might compromise their ongoing investigation.
