A wanted Western North Carolina man is now in custody and is facing new and additional charges. The Asheville Police Department says, 36 year old Tyrone Rushad Brown was wanted on a warrant for violating his federal probation.
He was taken into custody by officers and NCSBI agents, Wednesday afternoon on Smokey Park Highway. Investigators say Brown was found with a gun and drugs during his arrest.
He's facing two counts of intent to distribute for the drugs and a weapons violation stemming from yesterday's incident.
