One person is injured following a weekend shooting in the Upstate. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting on James Cox Road in Belton just after 9AM Saturday morning.
Upon arrival, Deputies found a woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital to be treated for her injuries, there's been no update on the victim's condition. The shooting remains under investigation and no arrest have been announced as of this time.
