An evacuation order has been issued for part of one Western North Carolina County due to a wildfire. McDowell County Emergency Management said as Tuesday that the Bee Rock Branch Fire had burned nearly 200 acres and was at 0% containment.
An evacuation order has been issued for those living on Wild Acres Road near the Little Switzerland Community. Emergency shelters are available those in need can call 828-652-3241.
