A Westminster man is facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop over the holidays. The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says, a Christmas Eve traffic stop near Walhalla led to the arrest of 23 year old Robert Joseph Wilbanks.
The vehicle was occupied by two men and woman, and Wilbanks was a passenger in the backseat. During a search of all three occupants of the vehicle, Deputies discovered a bag with over 7 grams of fentanyl that had fallen from Wilbanks' pocket to the ground.
Wilbanks is charged with Fentanyl trafficking. He's being held in Oconee County on a $75,000 dollar bond.
