Anderson Cunty Deputies nabbed an Iva man after a BOLO was issued, Sunday. Detectives were called to a home on Highway 413 early Sunday morning after a man reportedly broke into his ex-wife’s house while armed.
Authorities say the suspect, David Lee Cook, fired a shot at another man inside the home. The bullet grazed the victim’s leg, causing non-life-threatening injuries. A statewide be-on-the-lookout, or BOLO, was issued after Cook fled the scene.
He was located late Sunday morning in Anderson County and taken into custody. Cook is charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, domestic violence, and burglary.
